About 2025 Jog-a-Thon / Maze-a-Thon

This event is a 47-year old school tradition promoting fitness and community support of our school. K-8th Grade Students gather pledges for five weeks leading up to the event. This year our 48th Annual Jog-A-Thon will be at Spiegelberg Stadium on October 8th from 9:00am-11am. Students walk/jog/run around the track for 2 hours.

Rave Orthodontics will once again be sponsoring our milage club: Many Miles of Smiles Club. Students who run the required laps for their grade will be awarded into the RAVE Orthodontics Many Miles of Smiles Club T-Shirt and Dr. Ravassipour donates $10 to the school for each student in the club.

The Many Miles of Smiles Club lap requirements are:

  • K-1st: 20 Laps
  • 2nd-4th: 30 Laps
  • 5th-8th: 35 Laps

For our Preschool and Prekindergarten students, we have a Maze-A-Thon. This year’s event will take place in our newly renovated gymnasium on October 7th from 9:00-10:00am. Our students in these grades will have the opportunity to explore our blow-up maze, play fall themed games, and have a good time. Our PS and PK Students gather pledges for 5 weeks leading up to the event to support our school.

Our fundraising goal is $45,500 this year. Jog-A-Thon and Maze-A-Thon pledges support scholarships, teachers, classrooms, and keep tuition costs down. Money raised in the JAT/MAT goes toward each family’s $300 fundraising commitment.

Donations for specific students can be made on our Zeffy Fundraising page: https://www.zeffy.com/donation-form/shcs-48th-annual-jog-a-thon
